Sustainability
Regal Innovations is Climate Active Carbon Neutral Certified.
At Regal, we’re committed to improving the world we live in beyond the projects we deliver. Recognising the urgency to decarbonise the industry, we fully support science-based targets to cut greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and mitigate climate change. Our Climate Active certification means we’ve reduced emissions wherever possible and offset the rest by investing in carbon projects that balance our total emissions.
While transitioning fully away from fossil fuels will take time, we’ve already made significant changes to cut operational emissions.
To achieve carbon neutrality, we’ve invested in carbon offset projects, like the Tiwi Islands Savanna Burning Project in the Northern Territory. This initiative supports the Tiwi community, safeguarding traditional values, protecting nature, and providing local employment.
This is just the start; we are committed to adapting and evolving our business to reduce our impact on nature and take on the challenge of the Climate Crisis that we are all in.
This certification aligns with our parent company Sumitomo Forestry’s "Mission Treeing 2030," which envisions achieving total operational decarbonisation by 2030 through sustainable use of planted forests and forest products.

As a business operating across Australia, we are committed to listening, learning, and collaborating with First Nations peoples to ensure our activities honor their ongoing connection to land, waters, cultures, languages, and traditions.
Our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) outlines our commitment to Acknowledging Country and strengthening relationships with First Nations communities.
Through the RAP, we demonstrate our dedication to upholding human rights, particularly the rights of First Nations peoples, as an integral part of our operations.

As a proud member of Supply Nation, we seek to continually build and foster relationships with Indigenous enterprises to improve long-term Indigenous economic development outcomes that will benefit the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
